These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of americanpestguide.com and any related pages, quizzes, forms, and phone-connection features (the "Service") operated by SATORI WORLD LLC ("we," "us," or "our") under the American Pest Guide brand. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What American Pest Guide does

American Pest Guide is an informational and lead-matching site. We publish articles and interactive quizzes about residential pest control, and we connect visitors to licensed pest control providers through phone calls and forms. We are not a pest control company. We do not perform inspections, treatments, or service work.

Providers we connect you to are independent licensed pest control operators and their affiliates. We do not employ, control, or supervise them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Informational content is not professional advice

Articles, quizzes, and comparisons on American Pest Guide are provided for general information only. They are not a substitute for professional inspection or advice from a licensed Pest Management Professional (PMP). Treatment decisions — particularly involving pesticides, structural fumigation, wildlife removal, or vector-borne disease risk — should be made with a credentialed local professional who can inspect your property.

Pricing, timelines, product references, and treatment ranges shown on the site are typical figures. Actual outcomes vary by region, infestation severity, and provider.

4. Provider connections and compensation

When you tap a call button, submit a form, or complete a quiz, we may connect you to a direct partner provider or to a licensed provider through the MarketCall pay-per-call network. Any transaction, quote, service agreement, or refund is between you and the provider directly. American Pest Guide is not a party to that transaction and does not guarantee provider work, pricing, availability, or outcome.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through forms, quizzes, or phone calls.
  • Impersonate anyone else, including a homeowner, licensee, or partner.
  • Scrape, harvest, or automatically extract content or leads from the Service.
  • Interfere with or attempt to bypass the Service's security or rate limits.
  • Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited messages, or messages that violate applicable law.

6. Intellectual property

All content on americanpestguide.com — including articles, quiz structure, illustrations, code, and branding — is owned by SATORI WORLD LLC or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view the Service for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not copy, redistribute, republish, or scrape the Service without prior written permission.

7. No warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

  • Content on the Service is complete, current, accurate, or free of errors.
  • Providers we connect you to will meet your expectations.
  • The Service will be uninterrupted or free of technical issues.

Prices, treatment ranges, and product mentions may go out of date between article updates.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SATORI WORLD LLC and American Pest Guide will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service or from any provider connected through the Service, whether based in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SATORI WORLD LLC and American Pest Guide, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use may cause harm to us, other users, or third parties.

Sections 3 (informational content), 4 (provider connections), 6 (intellectual property), 7 (no warranties), 8 (limitation of liability), 9 (indemnification), and 12 (governing law) survive termination.

11. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration in Utah County, Utah, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

If binding arbitration is unavailable for a particular dispute, the state and federal courts located in Utah County, Utah will have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. General

  • Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Advertiser Disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
  • Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
